We are currently hiring a Full Time Chef de Partie Pastry. Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie is an award winning pastry shop situated in North Burnaby with a second location in White Rock. This position is for our White Rock location, and the ideal candidate will be resonsible for the daily production of our White Rock kitchen. During the past 9 years we have acquired a reputation as one of Vancouver's sweet-spot destinations. The ideal candidate must have open availability, specifically Tuesday to Saturday. Our product range features fine handmade chocolates, chocolate show pieces, macarons, high-end French pastries and viennoiserie all of which are handmade onsite.

Requirements:
~ Graduate from a pastry & baking school
~ Minimum of 3 years experience in pastry & baking
~ Experience involving a level of responsibility for ordering and stock rotation
~ Experience involving a level of responsibility & organization within a kitchen facility with the ability to lead a small team of 2 Pastry Assistants
~ Food Safe Level 1 & 2 Certification
~ Motivated, reliable, hardworking & looking to join a young & innovative team
~ Dedicated to creating a perfect product & strive to be consistent at all times
~ Ability to multi-task & have an eye for detail
~ Organized & able to work under pressure within a busy environment
~ Excellent communication skills
